When we started working on UpHarvest, we did so because we wanted people, anywhere to easily access safe, healthy and locally-grown, fresh organic food. By going on this journey, we aim to achieve the following:

- Fair prices for consumers and better margins for local organic farmers.
- Reduced dependence on unsustainable farming practices.
- Increased knowledge of where our food comes from.
- Improved taste and nutritional value of the food we eat.
Our vision is a world in which sustainable, affordable organic agriculture is the norm. To realise this vision, we believe a good place to start is bringing communities together (based on trust), empowering organic farmers, and efficiently coordinating local food resources.
